Zara and her friends knew they hadn't solved the pixie problem for good. Far from it. The king's needs grow deeper every day he's stuck in captivity, while his control over his people gets weaker. It's made him vulnerable. And now there's a new king in town.

A turf war is imminent, since the new pixie king, Astley, is moving in quickly. Nick nearly killed him in the woods on day one, but Zara came to his rescue. Astley swears that he and Zara are destined to be together, that he's one of the good guys. Nick isn't buying it, though Zara isn't as sure -- despite herself, she wants to trust the new king. But it's a lot more than her relationship with Nick that is at stake. It's her life -- and his.
(Review via Goodreads - Lazy me)

Like the first volume I really enjoyed reading this book, even if my love for Nick dropped a little bit since it got redirected to Astley who I am not quite sure he is such a nice guy how he claims to be and has a trick up his Pixie sleeve or he really is a Pixie that is an exception to "Never trust Pixies".
I had a crying moment by the middle of it and a squee by the end of it. :))

Both books got a full 5 points from me since they didn't loose me on the way.

QUOTE TIME XD

"Loving you is a full-time job. It's a great job, don't get me wrong. It's the best job in the universe. But it's not easy." - NICK

"You are totally kissable. If I were a guy or gay or bi or something I would absolutely kiss you." - ZARA

Need - Carrie Jones

Zara is a girl that thinks speaking out loud a fear makes that fear less frightening. She is obsessed with phobias.
Since her stepfather has died she hasn't been really her usual self reason why her mother sends her with her grandmother in the freezing Main area.
A stalked that Zara has been seeing around her house moves together with her, leaving behind a peculiar trail of gold dust.
He can't be human! He must be a pixie king. But is a pixie king following her?

I absolutely loved this book. I started reading it with an open mind, ready for everything and I enjoyed it immensely.
It was a fun and active story to read. Zara has become one of my favorite heroines I think, due to her funny open nature. I know she was swooning a lot about Nick, which I was doing as I read, but this girl didn't beat around the bush to get her man. And that is what I loved about her.
And I want a Gram like hers :))

QUOTE TIME:

"I like a lot of things that aren't good for me." -NICK

"Pixiophobia: a fear of Pixies.

I made this up, but believe me it should be a word because it sure is a legitimate fear."
- ZARA
